Program Manager (Part Time)

Reports to: CEO, DR. Marcy Forta
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Part-time, 17-20 hours/week
Payment: Between $25 and $28/hour, depending on experience

Overview:
Atzmi is seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Manager to take full ownership of the Change Challenge, a monthly follow-up initiative that helps Orthodox Jewish teen girls maintain and apply the mental health tools learned in Atzmi’s “My Best Self” program. This is a meaningful, rewarding role for someone who cares deeply about empowering teens, mental health, and bringing positive change to the community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Full Logistics Management:

    • Secure program locations and set dates/times for monthly sessions

    • Coordinate with facilitators and confirm session plans

    • Oversee registration and maintain attendance tracking

    • Manage marketing and outreach to recruit participants

    • Purchase and organize program materials, supplies, and swag

  • Communication & Organization:

    • Maintain consistent communication with participants

    • Work closely with the Atzmi team to align goals and ensure smooth operations

    • Respond promptly and clearly to inquiries and updates

  • Program Development & Promotion:

    • Actively recruit girls to participate through schools, community networks, and local outreach

    • Help refine and grow the program, bringing creative ideas for improvement

    • Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere at all events

Qualifications:

  • Must be located in or near the Detroit Metro Area

  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and follow through

  • Passionate about teen mental health, emotional well-being, and body image

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and coordinating details

  • Experience with youth programming, event planning, or education a plus
